You're Blackout experience

wut was you're blackout of '03 experience, tell me about it, i was 1/4 of a mile from the NJ side of the Lincoln Tunnel when it happened(good thing I had Xenon HID lights) and it was dark, all that was illuminated b4 my headlights were my dash lights and tachometer lights, then i drove 2 my cousin's house in weehawken, NJ and saw the sun set, and New York looked like a desserted island, all u saw were head lights, sum shadows of ppl, and siren lights from teh Port Authority. so it was freaky, if you've seen Terminator three, that probably came in mind of the SkyNet super-virus, cuz thats wut popped up, then came terrorism, then came the thought of sutpid americans and their human errors(im american too, its just a joke)

i was just finishing up eating lunch at work and bam, all the lights went out, it sucked alot. after i realsied it wasnt just my crappy job, we all just turned on the radio and found out what was happening.

i ended up sleeping in just my boxers, damn near sweating to death, until my power came on the next day at 6:30am.

Meh.. I actully really enjoyed it. It oppened my eyes to being happy without technology. Just good old fun with friends and family. I think we should stop the blame game, get it fixed, and forget about it.. because i dont want to hear about it. It happened.. so what

Once upon a time....i was sitting on the computer....looking through the threads on AF.....and BAM.......the lights go out......i thought it was just a reset that happens once every often.......but it stayed off........and i was getting worried........so i sat down.....and me and my mother started to play a game of Cards......when we had been through about 12 games......we got a call from my uncle....telling us that the power was down....in most areas...........so after that we sat around the house and played cards........i went to sleep at 9:00........and woke up at 3:12.......to hear the Fire Alarm resetting.......which then alerted me the power was back up.......so i went back to sleep........and woke up the following day to see a new AF........and i was Amazed.......

The End

i agree also, but the US and canada cant do that, theres always a blame politically. sumones always looking for an answer to everything when there always isnt. its for the safety of national security, to show a powerful nation, yet u should see sumtimes how nations can get soo stubborn

Okay, flame me for this response but whatever.

That's just fucking stupid Desi. It looks stupid, is fucking annoying to read, and simply makes you look like a fuckwit. USE YOUR FUCKING SPACE BAR AND PERIOD ONCE AND THATS IT. In other terms CUT IT OUT BECAUSE IT IS FUCKING ANNOYING.

This has been a public service announcement.

i have to agree with Susan. if that keeps up, then you'll be on my "ignore" list in no time. making a signature thing that's funny? go right ahead. making a signature thing, like the "1", that's a bit annoying but you start to over-look it after a while? fine. making a signature thing that affects every aspect of how your posts sound, look, what meaning is conveyed by them, what your posts say about you, and is just generally FUCKING ANNOYING? FUCK NO!

so please, stop it. for the good of AF.

I live in NH, but didn't notice anything. Apparently we weren't hassled this far north? I didn't even know there was a blackout until people started talking about it. And there is finger pointing going on as to whose fault it was? Who cares. If it's so important to find a target for blame, let's all just drop nukes and fire bombs on ourselves at the same time, then no one can really point fingers. Blech. 5 million years of evolution and so much of mankind still settles its disputes by throwing blame around, and fighting about it- like little children. Wah wah wah.

Grow up.

Is that like the list that Santa checks twice? No wait, come to think of it he must not check it at all.
