Balljoints?
Hi,
Anyone know how to replace your steering balljoints and lower ones? When I disconnected them to remove my engine I used a pickle fork and tore the boots so they turn on themselves when u try tightening it. I need both steering balljoints and one lower balljoint. Also, it says in the Haynes manual to replace the upper balljoints u have to replace the whole arm. But what I really need is just the steering and lower balljoints. its says in the manual u will need special tools and should only let a certified mechanic do it. I know Autozone sells the balljoints, but what tool will I need? A press? How long will it take? Thanks

to replace the upper ball joints u need the whole arm assembly! its pretty much impossible to get just the ball joint out, its much easier and quicker to replace the whole arm
