Warning-Avoid this brand!!!!!!!

The brand I am urging you to avoid is Autoart, they are fabuosly detailed, but they fall apart in your hands!!!!!! I bought an Evo VI Autoart and after 2 weeks:

the Wing mirror has sanpped off (Partly my fault)
The back door handle fell off,
when I place the car down the heavy wieght of the body pushes down the rear wheels,
then the tail light fell out
when I opened the boot spoiler came off

So please avoid these ridicuosly expensive (NZ$189.95) pieces of shit they are worthless

I have a Skyline and nothings wrong with it. If it was hanedled roughly then $h!T will happen.

I have a few AutoArt models myself. I collect the 1:18 scale cars. From race cars to regular street cars. No problems or parts fall off of them. You probably just have bad luck.

That sucks. But in all honesty. AutoArt is one of the better makers of diecast replicas. If anything, I'd say stay away from Burago, they suck in detail, and other things.

A majority of my models are Bbugaro and I love the qaulity of that brand!!!!!! Even if the detail sux compared to Autoart.

The best brand in my opinion is UT models, great quality and superb detail, as well as a great choice in cars.

The Best brand is Kyosho!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! crapteted interiors, engine bays with poto-etched parts and wiring and all the JDM supercars(SUpra RX7,NSX) and BMWs are made by them. However, AutoARt has a better selectio like SKyline,Ipreza WRX,EVO6, numerous rally cars, and of course, the new Lamborghini Murcielago! Drool :toothless

Well, here's my take. I haven't collected anything yet from Kyosho. As for AutoArt, I have a few of them. They also have photoetched parts and carpeted interiors. Some other brands that I have are Maisto, UT, American Muscle/Ertl, Mattel, Mira, Burago. In total, about 104 cars with 4 more coming on their way. Now I know that UT builds some good cars. But I dislike the fact that they don't have working suspension on their cars like Maisto does. Almost, all of Maisto cars have working suspension. However, UT does have a wider selection of cars. But thats not here nor their. I'm going to be posting pics pretty soon. I need to find a good camera.
