help me please

ok im feelin a little outta place here, but i figgured if any one knows it would be you guys. i drive a 94 dodge caravan that i am trying to build up to take out 4.6l mustangs and what not.
here is what iv learned
1 mitusibichi (i have no clue how to spell it) made the 3.0l single over head cam v6 thats in it
2 soccar moms hate minivans with polished aluminum air foils on them
3 soccar moms hate calvins peeing on soccar mom symbols in the back window of a minivan that just cut them off
and unfortunitly that is all.
now what i am trying to do is get a comframation to my suspission that the 6 cylinder that is in this beast is the same they put in the stelths and 3000GTs. if you can help it would be much appreciated.
thanks

Well I used to have a Chrysler Mini-van with a Garret T04 stage 2 turbo on it and I replaced the intercooler with a cummins turbo deisle intercooler and people had no idea what hit em'.

Kinda' wish I had kept it. Mine had a 2.2L I4. You can put the twin turbos from a stealth on you engine but it will cost you and you will have to replace your intire exaust.

What's up?! I have one question...Is it FWD or RWD ?

I don't know how much room you have in your engine bay...but you could pull an engine swap, or like he said strap on the TT's. I was thinking you could go with an Eclipse turbo engine. Strap on a GReddy TD-05 turbo, and you off!

free at last free at last

ok so its funny talkin with my friend matt a while a go.
turns out the bas#$%d knew all this time about a websight called
http://www.allpar.com/mopar/turbo3.html
that just happens to have all the info about any dodge 3.0l what it was in who made it and the happy fact that the lower end was in fact identical to the dual over head cam 3.0 they used in TURBO stealths and 3000gt
needless to say the hunt is on for turbos and headers for the hogg... this is gonna be funn ill keep all fo you up dated... i love this minivan
an yes it is fwd..... so a preformance 360 and a manual is out of the question but the dual over head cam turbo 3.0 is in the works
see ya

If you want to take out some stangs, you better sell the van, and buy something else...

What do you do if you need to turn. Maybe you could put some outriggers on it so it wont tip over in the twisties. And from what you have already done to the car I mean mini-van (POS Intake and exhaust) you are going to need to spend money to beat a GT, probably need to spend more than the van is worth to get it to compete with a GT in a straight line.

what should i buy????

ok lets try this agen.
mustang gt stock (witch is all i see around here) just used this as an example.
all im trying to do is see how fast i can get this thing to go ..... i mean come on, if i can keep up with a camaro z28 (also just an example) that would shure surprise the poop outta them. that and you dont really see any minivans with any thing done to them. maby thats for a reason but would you think of trying to race a minivan and if you did would you expect it to keep up with you. you can say what you want about it after all it is a free country from where i sit. but the fact remains its my van i like it and ill do what ever i want with it.
if i wanted to go out and look for some one to humiliate id jump in my 350 86 fire bird and look for the nearist vett.
about the pos intake and eaust. my intak, a cheap cone filter right. well it pulls only 1psi less than an k&n one if you dont belive my test it out your self. the only dissadvantage the cheap one has is you cant clean it once its filled up with durt n stuff you just throw it away and buy another cheap one. exaust all i was looking for was less back pressure and not draw the fuzzes attention. no cat thrush muffler and flex pipe to bring it out the side you can see it just behind the passingers door in the picture. total length of pipe 3ft. what makes sence to you $400 exaust and $200 cold air intake that arnt evin avalible for your car or the cheap fix for about the same preformance value. just somting to concider a cheap one is better than stock, for us who dont have all the money in the world
oh and about the handling i do just fine around the turns with cheap coopers and no suspencion up grade, much less when i put some cash into that.

Please post some time slips for the Firebird, and let me know what mods you have done to it to get it into the 10's. Thanks.

fire bird

well here are some pics
i have a small block 350, high flow 305 heads (higher compression), forged pistons, edelbrock cam, roler timing chain, edelbrock tourker 2 intake manafold, edelbrock 650 cfm four barrel carb, hight volume oil pump, high volume fule pump, msd ignition, dule electric radiatior fan, hooker headers, flowmaster header back exaust, exaust dump, turbo 350 tranny, b&m street/strip shift kit, super street torque converter, rear axle out of an 94 ta so rear disk breaks and a better gear ratio, also limited slip posi. pos bf goodrich meats, stock rims. not much done to the intior just som carbon fiber here and there, and seats out of a 2000 cougar. i payed $2000 for the car with ablown engine built up the one thats in it now in a bout a week and a half, spent another $1000 in mods mostly stuff it dident allready have, 305 heads, turbo 350 tranny, shif kit, posi...
it needs a paint job but thats comming next spring.
i just think its funny in this aria no one dose any thing to there cars other than ignition nitrous intake and exaust thats about all.sorry if i seem defencive but im kinda sick of some one pulling up next to me and thinking because the car dosent look all that good its not fast. yeah they have a nicer looking car but do you really think a non asperated non turbo stock civic with a k&n and an exaust would have a chance (just another example) dont have a scanner for the slips. ill post them when i can.
the fire bird is not what im consentrating on im wanting to get info on the dodge 3.0l thats in my van.so far we found out the lower end is the same used in the 24 valve dohc. and they did use the sohc in the base line steath so the last thing i have to figgure out is if the 4 speed auto in the van will handel a twin turbo 3.0 dohc.

A 15.799 isn't going to eat a mustang for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Pretty damn quick for a mini-van though.
