Yes you can add any of the two but I would suggest a Turbo! Greddy makes a street legal kit but if you wanna boost more I would suggest a Rev-Hard or F-Max....

Should I use a Supercharger or Turbo in a D16Y8?
If so...which one? |

To me, turbo is the only way to go. As someone already mentioned, greddy makes a carb exempt kit. I recommend that. But if your going for big power, it won't do it for you. Supercharging to me is a waste, you don't seeing any of the pro guys using them, why, with a turbo, all you have to do is keep turning up the boost as long as your turbo can make power at that boost level.

Superchargers are becoming obsolete with more and more advances in Turbos. The only place for a supercharger now adays is a roots on an old carby v8.
Why does everyone with a Honda always wanna do fi. What happened to N/A, Hondas make great N/A platforms but everbodys so fi gung ho its like its a fad now.

But saying going FI on a honda is a fad, it does seem like many want turbo just to say they are turbo or hear a bov. I took it seriously and so do the few that I know that are turbo. No fad here, just big power and good times

Edit: Well, i'm not going to say that hondas make a BAD N/A platform because there is a fair bit of potential to make N/A power out of them compared to a lot of other cars, but I wouldn't say they have great potential. |

WTF are you talking about boosted? I dont give a damn about race cars. Im talking about street cars. Everyone Ive ever met with a Honda always says their gonna Turbo it, nobody ever says they are gonna go natural. Im saying that for the street car kids, they always want a turbo. Not reading posts fully is a fad now too. Read the post above your last one boosted.

I doesnt matter that N/A makes less power, its that nobody does N/A.
A good N/A Honda can be pushed much further on a road track than a high power turbo Honda. People jump to make so much horsepower that they upset the car and overpower it and so the car can never use its full horsepower. You have to pay too much attention at keeping the car stable that you lose focus on just going as fast as possible. Horsepower is nothing if you cant control it.
