need tranny

M y tranny just went out and I want to put something better than my stock 5-speed. I heard that I can put an acura tranny in, but what year will fit in a 89 civic. please help me out.

Acura tranny wont fit. Not the 2nd gen ones atleast. U should try the junkyard and get urself a crx/civic si tranny. Where u located?

I have a ZC tranny for sale. Its got better gearing for speeding up than an Si tranny. Lemme know if your interested.

no you need 90-93 teg axles.

Cuz we dont like you. No, honestly, I would have told you the same thing, I must have just missed your thread or something. The tranny is just sitting in my garage taking up space so make me an offer and Ill see what I can do. Oh yea, also it comes with the intermediate shaft.

I guess im looking for about $170. Also, I think you were asking in another thread about 90-91 clear corners. I have those as well and you can take them for $10. Maybe free if you buy the tranny

Sorry man, I forgot you had a B16 lol. I know its a ZC tranny because I bought my ZC Engine with ZC tranny still intact. I took it off and put an Si tranny on it because I was too lazy and cheap to change the axles.
