Unhappy 1991 Acura Integra ???Where is the water pump located ;-)

Hello All :-) Can someone please help me... My radiator will not hold any fluid??? Everytime I drive it I have been filling it up with water ;-) God what a pain in the butt. I replaced the radiator and thermostat a few months ago so I know that it can't be either of those...Someone told me that it might be the water pump??? Does anyone know where it is located in this specific car??? or have any opinions to what else it might be???
Thanks,
Kathy

Check to see if you have any water leaks anywhere.....Because if your having to constantly add water to the radiator I really dont think the pump is the problem...

Yeah, the water pump is driven by the timing belt and is mounted near the back of the engine. It is not unheard of for water pumps to leak on these from the "weep hole" on the pump when they age. You are supposed to replace it when you perform a timing belt service. Replacing the timing belt tensioner pulley while you're in there is also a wise investment. Typically a water pump will last as long as the timing belt's normal life expectancy. The timing belt on your car is due every 90K miles under normal conditions and 60k under extreme conditions. If the drip seems to be coming out of the driver's side of the engine (TB side), it is probably the pump. A leaking radiator is obvious and easy to spot. There is also a steel pipe that runs across the back of the engine under the intake manifold that theoretically could leak (I've never seen it leak). It carries the coolant from the thermostat housing on the tranny side of the engine to the pump on the other side. It seals with an o-ring to the block and may even have a little "T" fitting with smaller hose(s) coming off of it. Check for corrosion. Good luck and keep that timing belt fresh! Genuine Acura ones are the best quality. They don't cost that much more, either, and I'm told they're reinforced with Kevlar
