Angry Warning: don't buy any Audi

I sold my beloved GTi 1.8T in January and decided to buy a luxury sedan.
I checked the BMW 330i, Volvo S40 T4 and the Audi A4

Here in Guatemala you don't see too many A4's, so I decided to buy it.

After only 6 months of owning the car, I've had these problems:

- 1 month: seatbelt at the was loose and making a lot of noise
- 2 months: front left engine of seat broken
- 3 months: front left speaker broken
- 4 months: front right engine of seat broken, too
- 6 months: front left window making a lot of noise - maybe also going to fail !

Audi is doing as much as they can to be at the same level of MB and BMW, but they are years of light behind.

All these parts are going to be replaced under warranty, but I really tell you this:

DON'T BUY AN AUDI -- THEY STILL HAVE A LOT OF SERIOUS QUALITY ISSUES TO SOLVE

THE CAR IS CRAP; don't be a fool like myself and invest well your hard earned money.

I hope I do not offend anyone, but Audi is really crap

Sister has A4, I have Passat. Same engine (Audi), same tranny (Audi), same pig (audi). I have to believe that you just got a lemon. I hope thinks work out for you.

Volvo S40 isnt acutally a luxury sedan... At least it's not ment to be one... Even though you talk about the T4 edition, it's ment to be a family car for the average family... S40 and V40 are middle-class family cars...

The S60 is more luxerious... As they are more upper-middle class cars... The S60 and the V70...

The S80 is ment to be the luxury sedan from Volvo... The S80 T6 is a lovely car...

Yeah, I always hear about reliability issues with Volkswagens/Audis. Mercedes and Volvo build very high quality cars though. BMW is questionable, I guess it depends on how well you take care of it.

Re: Warning: don't buy any Audi

audi has, as VAGs normally have, good quality on their cars... i think that you might just have been unlucky...

the same happened to a mate of mine with his bmw new 6series... he had alot of trouble with it and ended up exchanging it for a mecedes sl... good choice i say... but bmw have good quality normally... all german cars have...
