okay i forgot to say i only put in my short ram intake yesterday, the next day i got the cold air becuz i didnt have time to put in the second pipe, but now i put in the second pipe and it ran fine, i found out the nails on a chalk board noise was my distributor, so i took it off and cleaned the rotor and it still makes the noise, now with the cia i started my car after letting it sit for 30 mins and it just died on me, and when i try to start it, it sounds like its coughing or choking, and it wont even start from that point. my buddy told me i gotta go to the diagnostics place and get a remap. dont know if thats true, any help would be appreciated..... thanks

but does anybody know why my car will not work with this intake, I have never seen or heard of this happening to anyone by just puing an intake its like it unbalnces everything, all i wanna do is put this intake in and get it on the road, this is my first experience with an intake, and like they say more bang for your buck i am very satisfied in the power increase, but now that i took it out that power is gone...... so if anyone can help me out with this i would again, greatly appreciate it

Lets see, you installed a CAI intake then drove for 4hrs & then heard a noise from the distributor. You replaced the CAI with the stock air intake system & the noise is gone?
