No such thing in Australia - we never got it. The Kiwis brought them into NZ with their import laws though. I drive an EF9 (B16A 4th gen) and if the EG6 is anything like it then it's well worth it.

Cheers

As pete said. You'd have to buy an EG and drop the b16 in. Oh, not really any aussie based honda forums I know of, but there are aussie forums such as:

performance forums and fast fours.

hey whiteae86, i've got a genuine '94 civic SiR. Which is pretty much what you're lookin for. As far as I know, only a handful of these made it to aussie shores. And to let ya know, it goes. it can give it to most ITR's VTiR's.

For an aussie honda forum, try the ozhonda.com forums.

hope that helps!

ZC or not ZC?

Hi guys, I'm new to the forum. I have a 4G Civic with D16Z1 engine. It's a twin-carb. Can anybody tell me if it's the ZC engine? I know the ZC's code is D16Z5. I just can't find any info on the Z1 engine. Wanna know what kinda horsepower does my car have. Does it make any sense to swap the carb with a fuel injection system? Thanks.

A. Tamaki

Re: ZC or not ZC?

damn a twin carb 1.6.......I'd put the engine bhp at about 70-76Kw- and I'm not sure of the costs of switching to fuel injection (Which btw is a great idea- fuel injection is much easier than carbs) but if the cost is anything in 4 figures- don't bother- an engine transplant (From say an EF Civic GTi), or even a VTEC SOHC engine like that in the NZ Civic VTi/VTiS from Honda NZ (for $850 ex labour) would be a much better investment......

At least the best alternative without going the whole hog and dropping in a B16a

btw- I am just assuming you are from NZ with a name like Tamaki
