Tamiya expanding their 1/24 figure range
Albeit limited it seems.
Not sure if this has been discussed already, have not noticed anything. http://www.hlj.com/cgi-perl/hljpage.cgi?TAM89609 http://www.hlj.com/cgi-perl/hljpage.cgi?TAM89610 http://www.hlj.com/cgi-perl/hljpage.cgi?TAM89611 I'm guessing that these are not new toolings, the rally drivers may be from the pug/focus kits and the driver from their kits around the mid 80's i think.

While I agree figures are great for dioramas, I've never liked them myself.
I proffer the showroom look (AKA empty) on cars, bikes and aircraft. Also is it me or is Tamiya releasing less 1/24 car kits now than ever before...? Its not like there's a lack of cars for them to choose from? |

I dont think good about the racing driver because they do not supply the decals (sponsor) of the driver. Pics may be help.

That's a step in the good direction.
Now, how about expanding their 1/24 CAR range. |

Really good for Diorama though.
