It's only 66lbs... remove your spare tire or something.

Well, it might be, but they removed other things if so. There is only a 66lb curb weight difference between the cars.

I don't know if you should buy used parts. There are about 14 different pieces to that system scattered around the entire car. I went to the dealership this weekend, and they wanted 2400 dollars for the whole setup.

Yes I know the whole set-up would be very expensive. I used to work @ Honda & checked out the prices & stuff. There was lude in the junkyard with all the parts but I dont want to remove all that shit myself @ the junk yard. That would be a pain in my ass, installing it on my 4G civic would be a larger pain in my ass. I am not aware of any civic's with the swap so I want to do it to have something different than all the rest out there.

That would probably be the tightest turning car ever made.

Maybe your best bet would be to go with the mechanical system in the 3rd gen?

Mechanical 4WS

The mechanincal 4ws is WAYYY better then the electronic crap they started using. For one theing the electronic disables at a certain speed, and there are only a handfull pf parts on the mechanical system, the presure line, the shaft and the grearbox in the back as the rear suspension in the 88s is pretty much ready to go, you just need the parts...

So you've driven a 4th gen with 4ws? Oh, and you've worked on a 4th gen with 4ws? Makes me wonder why they even went to an electric system if the mechanical system is WAYYY better..
