Myths about waterless car wash,Polish/Sealer

Hello from Chicago area,
To all you detailers, this is a new thread on DWG Waterless Car Wash. I jsut have to burst all your bubbles on mis-information about a product that most of you detailers know nothing about and if you did you would be doing a business you couldn't keep up with. First of all Dri Wash n' Guard is a polish /sealer. Also the fella that said you need to cure a sealer needs to backup, no need. Throw all your high tech waxes away because the companies that produce them is just stealing your money, wax suffocates the finish. Second, you'll all like this but I guarantee not a one of you will collect.$1000.00, yes anybody, that using the proper towels will never scratch any non-porous finish, if you can scratch a finish I'll give you $1000.00. DWG, Dri Wash n'Guard, Waterless car wash Polish/Sealer contains polymers that suspend dirt & dust particles from the finish, this product is ahead of its time and performs 100%. Also all of you detailers that are dupped by highly marketed do nothing products, thats exactly what they do, is nothing. DWG waterless products get down to brass tacks of vcehicle care with no hype, just doing what they're supposed to, long term condition a vehicle. I don't promote the Waterless products for hype, I promote them because they work and I'll challenge anyone that can show me a better product. I've used every product from A to Z, and you don't need the purple dragon and other chemicals and pressure washers, they're a waste of money unless you want to strip the paint. Go to www.galaxylane.org and see the complete line of DWG products and with them you can run a detailing business. Also if you have found a way to scratch a finish with Dri Wash n'Guard I'll give you the $1000.00.

dri wash bull

waxing is bad for my finish? bull. Listen people do what has been done forever. Waxes are like most engine oils. if you do it frequently enough, it`ll shine forever. Yes there are some better waxes than others. But i`d never take a spray on product and wipe the dirt in with a towel. If it were that good of a product than other companies would offer it. I tell people that it`s a good idea to wax every 3 months.

Hello Bull,
Yes waxing is bad for any finish if done extensively and why do you think wax is stripped from floors after too much application. Yes wax wax has been used forever until a new replacement product comes along and then all of you with your head in the sand wouldn't beleive in anything new if it slapped you in the face. Once more on the DWG, waterless Polish/Sealer, the polymers contained in the product emulsify the dirt and dust particles and lift them from the surface of the finish, as I stated earlier anyone that can scratch the finish with this product will get $1000.00, com'on all you guys that claim this product doesn't work, where are the challengers? There are none! The big companies can't get their hands on this product because of the patents and trademarks, they would love to get their hooks into this product. To the moron that had the comment about off-roading, well if this product were applied prior to off-roading the mud would not adhere to the finish. For all you off-roading enthusiasts try our tie treatment product on the tire tread and you'll see a world of difference in traction improvement. All of you so called Professional detailers should welcome an exciting new product that blows all the others out of the industry, most of you guys are so new in the business that the disposable diapers are still in the closet. You all will see, the time for waxes will be obsolete, just like 20 years down the road gasoline will be a thing of the past.

not trying to be an asshole, so your work for the company? I have suppliers coming to the shop all the time, try this - try that. All the products gets some use for testing & some I keep ordering because its good stuff. I just prefer water - 1 because its FREE / 2 because its there.

I stick with what works for us. Nothing like trying some shitty wax on a customer's car while they are waiting and that was "the best stuff i'll ever use" according to the rep.

Hi all,

Being the sceptic i am, i had to try some of this waterless car wash stuff. There are a few places in the land of oz, offering this product and also serivce in large shopping centers.

So i purchased some to try it out.... on a friends car(not risking it on a client, hahaha). Now i really wanted to believe in this new method of cleaning a car, as we have pretty strict water restrictions in Melbourne at the moment, so this was like a sign from above. Instead it seemed like a sign from below, yeh it kinda works, sort of, but up against a car that has been washed with water and some Eagle one wet wash(the king), the waterless stuff has nothing.

Did i do something wrong?? I decided to take my car to get the waterless wash by the pros, to see what they could do.
My car was pretty dirty round the skirt area, so there were a few chunks of mud on the car.

They told me i would have to hose it off, i said i thought this was a waterless car wash place in which my car (regardless of how dirty it is) would be cleaned and detailed. Well i couldnt.

If companies wanted this style of product so badly, it would be mass marketed by now, simple as that. I admire the thought of a waterless wash, but atm it aint all what its talked up to be. It really should be sold on those late night info commercials.

thats my 20 ozzie dollars worth
