install short shifter

aight i just got my short shifter and type r shift knob in the mail today and i got the 2 rubber things off but theres 2 bolts that i need to get off behind the stock shifter that holds on the the thing that is going around the shifter. if u understand me, what do i need to take off next?

aight i just did some research i found that i will have to go under the car so i guess that answers my question
