Question cool air intake

hey i wanted some help, i am just getting into the racing and adding stuff to my new eclipse. can someone help me by sending me a picture of what their cool air intake looks like under their hood of an eclipse 2000 and up,..i put mine on, but im not exactly sure its correct, all my friends have american cars and they said it was different and they couldnt tell but figured it was right. it was just harder to put on my car then my old mustang. thanks...

i just want a pic of underneath someones hood? what tha hellz that suppose ta mean???
im just use to american cars, and now im working on imports! it was kinda weird didnt fit in so easy had to take the battery off and then put it in and put the battery back,..and it hangs so low, in stangs it was nothing like that

Specifically what model intake did you purchase and install?

And can you post a picture of your engine bay with the intake installed? We might not have a picture of the exact intake installed on a model similar to yours, but by posting a picture, we should be able to tell you if it's right or wrong.

Did it come with an instruction manual?

it is AEM and i bought it off e-bay and there was no instructions.

thanks, here is mine.(well i would put mine on, but i saved it on my comp and then clicked browse and put the pic on here it says file is too big..ha ha how do you make it smaller)??? my mustang it was just L shaped and didnt hang so low and my eclipse it hangs real low behind the headlight

Open the image in Picture Viewer or iPhoto and have it export it to a reasonable size.

I have to assume there's some way to do this on a peecee too.

Hi there,

I just bought an AEM Cold Air System and it arrived yesterday (I plan to install it this weekend). Mine is for a 2003 Dodge Stratus Coupe R/T however the instructions are also for a 2000-2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse GT. If you want I can scan a copy and email them to you unless you dont really want them. Just thought I would ask.
