Question Headlight compatible issues??

This is my first time posting here. First off, I have a '96 Toyota Avalon, and Im not trying to rice it up or anything, I have accepted the fact that it IS an avalon, and not a supra. *tear*. I am in the wanting of brighter headlights, and I have been doing some research.

I have found out that my lowbeams are compatible with 9006's and my highbeams are 9005's. Bottom line, I want the brightest (and reasonably cheap...under $100 for 2) lights. This off the bat eliminates the option of HIDs. However, I am not that car literate, and dont know much about this kind of stuff.

I have been recommended these lights. They are cheap, and they look like decent and bright lights.

However, like all the products I look for, I check eBay to learn/research more products and stubled accross these lights. The thing that confuses me is that this second pair keeps talking about HIDs. I do not think these are infact HID bulbs, but being compared to HID bulbs, correct? Also with the 9006...this means it is compatible with my car correct? This is the main site for the 2nd pair of lights with more information.

Any suggestions would be great! Thanks alot!
