Power-to-weight on the SiR will still be better. It will be 14.5 lbs-per-hp on the Probe, vs 12.5 lbs-per-hp on the SiR. But I seriously doubt that Hatch (is it a REAL SiR?) is 2000lbs...more like 2200 or so. Even then, at 2,200lbs, the hatch will still have 13.75 lbs-per-hp.

Good shifting to keep it in the powerband will be the key to top his superior torque.

Oh...

...in that case, that thing prolly weighs about 1800lbs then.

The DX CRXs weighed about 1950 lbs stock.

Don't mess up the shift, he stands no chance!

well, actually if the probe has a true KLZE engine in it, then hes running about 200 with the engine alone. the stock probe gt v6 engine is the KLO3 which has about 160 stock....now if it is a real j-spec KLZE then good luck racing it will be very close. but if its the stock a-spec KLO3 then u'll probably take him. good luck, i wanna hear the results on this one..i joined just to speak this crap.

The 200HP output of the KL-ZE motor has already been addressed, even in my power-to-weight estimates from over a year ago.

Either way, thread's dead...Bai Bai...
