About the mp3 player

The mp3 player is the same as the cd player all the wires are the same the only difference is in the the cd/mp3 player in itself. The mp3 player can read data cd's which normal cd players can't. Can you please reply as soon as possible because I want to install my cd/mp3 player as fast as possible.

you should be able to buy the proper harness for your stereo at most places like best buy, cicuit city, etc. when you get this harness you will plug it into the car but you will have to actually connect its wires to the stereo. I have found that most of the adapters come with writing on the wires so you know what the wire is supposed to connect to. if this is not the case the stereo usually has a wiring diagram of its own that tells you which of the wires conncects where. actually, the wires should connect same color to same color. yellow and red wires are for power, yellow i believe is the main power and red is retained acc. power black is of course the ground, there will probably be a blue wire for a power antenna which civics dont usually have so disregard this wire, as for speaker wires there should be purple, green, white and grey i believe, they will say on the harness you need to buy which goes where but as far as i can remember white and grey are rear speakers and green and purple are front speakers.

the first time you instal a stereo it is slightly intimidating but in actuality when you take the time to look everything over it is not all that hard, now go get your proper wiring adapter and get to it

Uh to break it down easily, all wires for audio are pretty much standard for colors so it doesnt take a genius to match them all. But yea, most wiring harnesses come with instructions. If you want a diagram SOOO bad, you can order a wiring harness from crutchfield and they'll give you a master sheet for your car that shows installation step by step.

Get a wiring harness from crutchfield, gives you mastersheets which tell you everything almost about basic head unit installation in vehicle specific instructions.
