1/10 rim on 1/12

have anyone try to use 1/10 RC's Rim on an 1/12 skyline? if yes how u do it and does it look good?

I don't think that it would fit, and I think it would look kind of bad because the wheel would be too big.


Were did you get a 1/12 Skyline?

It would'nt look bad if you got super lo Pro tires for them. The ones I have would be perfect. The only problem is a lot of the wheels are non-realistic, Unless you go with something like Tamiya Mesh 2 piece rims which are pretty good looking. Good luck!

will not work they ratio is far oo great and there is no way to get low profile tires on a rc. Unless you go with the super size whell and wedge a normal set of tires even that takes a lot of effort to do.

So the answer is no

No, you can buy 1/12 rims for it and put them on there or make your own.

I don't see after market 1/12 rim flotting around the net and i don't have the skill to scapbuild rims, so i guess i have to get the Veilside one from the net

The R/C car rims are 19in rims to scale. so unless you want your Skyline rollin' on dubs I'd stay away from them. Tamiya did make some 1/12 R/C cars but they are mostly older models and military vehicles
