grand prix center console removal

does anyone know how to get the center console off of a 96 grand prix. because i need to take it off and run some wires underneath it. any and all help will be apreciated thank you.

First of all,have the cup holder out.Get a flat screwdriver and pry at the top of the front of lid.Above the cup holder.Keep lifting it up by pulling.There is a clip under your shifter and you`ll have to pull it towards the back.With needle nose pliers pull out the clip.Be careful and don`t damage any wires.You will have to pull off wires if you have a GTP they go to your perf shift.I think thats it if I remember right.
