The IS300 with the automatic transmission is rated at 230km/h. The IS200 with the 6-speed manual reaches 215 km/h. If the gearing is appropriate the IS300 with a 5-speed manual should reach 235 km/h.
I don't think that there's much of a difference between the Sport Cross and the regular sedan version.

Re: how fast?

235 km/h is equal to 146 mph. A respectable top speed for a 215hp sedan. The automatic is a little slower.

I'm not aware of a limiter. Only wind resistance, as far as I know. At least on the European models.

Re: how fast?

Limiter on the US models, it has a little more go in it, and plenty of power to make redline on the manual transmissions

And you cannot just buy a chip and remove the limter. Actually there is nothing out there to remove it right now, and why the f@#$ do you want to go over 140mph anyways? It has been estimated that in stock trim the IS300 should reach 150mph before wind resistance kicks in.

And top speed with the limiter is 143mph, if you're speedo read 146 then as you should all know already, once over 100 mph speedo's are way off.
