hey i just heard that there are plans for a live action Transformers Movie, its gona be produced by the same guys who porduced X-men, i sugest reading the artical at transformers.com

That would be wild to see. I always loved watching the cartoon when I was smaller and had the toys and stuff, plus with all these superhero movies doing so well, I dont see why producers couldnt put this out.

Do we REALLY want to tarnish the classicness of the old Transformers: The Movie, with a new puked up rendition of it??? Sure the animation would be good and all that but, it's the VOICES!!! The mad talent that they had in that movie was killer.

Leonard Nemoy, Robert Stack, can't remember who did the voice of Unicron....someone help me out, never mind, it was Orson Wells wasn't it?

And it will probably WON'T be the classics, but a flashy new age kind of Transformers.....like Beast Wars, or some gay ass sideshow like that. Man was I pissed when I saw those rip offs of the classic start coming out.

What I'd love to see is them somehow bringing back Unicron, probably rebuilt by the Quintasons, they're always fucking around with something, like the time they brought A3 (the farther of the Autobots) through the time window......was on the T.V. show in case you were wondering.

I just think it's been SOOOOOOOO long since the original Transformers: The Movie, half of the movie was the killer 80's music too!

Shit now I have to go out and buy the damn DVD, I've rented the thing enough times to prolly. pay for it twice, I hate talking about it because then I want to go and see it.

To me, the X-men franchise was totally ruined when they came out with the first movie, 2nd one was a lil less dissapointing but still gave xmen a bad image nevertheless. Transformers was an awesome show back then and it should stay like that, its like MJ coming back to play when he already retired. But....you know those desperate hollywood producers..in need of money so they go back to the basement and dig up a classic hit and make a movie out of it or add a sequal or make it a trilogy. With transformers being such a popular series, all the fans are going to have high expectations which will most not likely be met. I really hope they dont make a movie out of it, but if they do, they should at least make it a cartoon.

live action? i don't think we have the graphic technology to do this right yet. i mean movies like the matix reloaded, and dare devil werent too bad, but if the whole movie is like that, i wouldn't pay $7.50 to see it. they should just keep it animated, and remake it like they did justice league, now that's a tight cartoon

i bet it will have the same people, but they will look totatly differant, like prime, well maybe not exactly like prime some of the toys he is still a big rig, but he has been a monkey a differant looking monkey and than a monkey tank looking thing, and a stupid fire truck. not to mention the japanese stuff he has been, a pretender, a jet, and i think there was one more thing he was cant think of it right now. and out of all the newer cartoons there has been no bumble bee, even though he was a vw bug he was the freaking stuff. and who can forget cliff jumper.


i remember beast wars, around the same time as beast wars, they tried to make a line of transformers called machine wars, for what reason i dont know, but the only toy i ever saw from machine wars was starscream, he was like a black bird jet or something

unicron was atight they should bring him back for the movie, he is back on the Armada cartoon. his toy version is coming out this month i think

so i know bumblebee was the yell vw, i remember his hood turned into his feet on the old toy. prime is usually a 18 wheeler, but what about everyone else? what other cars and stuff were there? and how many different cartoons were there?

i remember one had people driving them and they wore bracelets, thats the oldest one that i remember, what came before that?

Sounds like the powermaster cartoon that was from japan, a.k.a Pretenders. there have been like 7 differant ones since the first one.

Protectobots form Protector, Constructobots form Devastator, Aerial Bots form Superion, Stunticons form into...shit name eludes me. Predacons form Predaking, a group, Combaticons, forms into Bruticus I think.
