Question Brake Upgrade

I am interested in getting an upgrade for my '90 Civic EX and was wondering what some possibilities are for a 16 year old on a budget. Right now I just have front discs and rear drums and am looking for better brakes. Shoot your ideas at me because i don't know much about brakes and brake upgrade kits.

Also the EX had the biggest front brakes of any EF so you can leave the front alone.

I thought EX had rear discs though? Hmmm.

unless of course the previous onwer of his car swapped the disks onto something else and put drums on it reminds me of someone here

Well I know for a fact that the previous owner did not swap the disc brakes on to something else considering my parents owned the car since it was new, lol.

Would this be the same procedure as on a sedan because i notice the site is a hatch site and was just wondering if its the same thing to do on a sedan...or if there are slight differences.

Leave the rear drums alone. You already have the bigger front discs. They do most of the work. Just get some better pads......make sure whatever pads you get are compatible with the rotors you have (been there, done that). Remember, you're on a budget.
