93 Civic wants to stall when hot

Hi all,

I have a 93 civic with 190k, just recently after the car warms up it starts bucking intermittently. If i get up on the rpms that seems to help. Car acts as if it wants to stall on me. Thinking maybe O2 sensor but not sure. If anyone has had a similar problem i appreciate the feedback.

Thanks in advance,
Headhog

A new o2 sensor is neccesarry after the 12 year mark your car is making(go on EBAY.COM for one), try and adjust the idle speed, or go to a mechanic or something. Since it is 11 or 12 years old, it can be a bad ignition coil or something, it was for me.

thanks for getting back to me, i just replaced the coil about 3 months ago. the car had just died and i had thought the timing belt went. put a new coil on and worked like a champ. I'll replace the O2 sensor also.

new spark plug wires should do the trick. I had the same problem and when I replaced the wires, it fixed that problem.
