intake manifold interchangeability

ok correct me if i'm wrong, but i know all d series parts are interchangeable (minus DPFI). And i've also been told the d16y8 manifold has the fattest runner and is the best all around for d series engines. my question is will all teh plugs and vacuums work if it were bolted up to a d16a6?

im sorry this doesnt help but i wanna know too , and since i thought of this too, i doubt it will work, thats just my luck
