Hello. The other day I was driving along about 60kms/hour (current temperature at the time was about 24 C) when my engine lost power, chugging if you will. The check engine gauges (pretty sure that's the light that came on) came on. I pulled over to the side of the road and put my 4 way flashers on. I checked the fluid levels and they all seem to be fine. When I try to start the engine it tries to start but just wont catch. My electrical system seems to be in order, as I got the radio, power windows, etc working. I have talked to some other people and they think that it could be either my fuel pump, or, my Coil. My car is a 1989 Chrysler Dynasty LE with a 3.0L engine (with Air Conditioning). Thanks for any help you can provide.

Re: 1989 Chrysler Dynasty
Does it start when you tip into the throttle a bit while cranking it?

Actually my dad took in to a automotive repair shop to be fixed and then about a week later the engine caught fire because the automotive repair shop forgot to tighten a gas hose and so the car was written off. |
