Do you take a nap?

Who here takes nap still? I just woke up from a short 30 min nap, because I was too hot. After I browse the boards a few minutes, I am going to go zonk out for another hour or two.

Hell yeah! Especially on hot summer afternoons. Naps are so refreshing... I'm kinda sleepy myself right now. We used to have a sofa where anyone who lied (sic) on it fell asleep. It was so nice, but kinda old... anyways. The only "bad" thing, though, is I tend to fall into a routine of taking afternoon naps. So now I get sleepy at around the same time every afternoon.

30 minutes? I've taken naps for up to 2+ hrs, and by the time I wake up, it's dark, so I'm like fuck it and I continue to sleep. Yes... senior year.... mmm... 10+ hours of sleep. *drool* urgh...

It depends. If it’s a really hot day and I’ve eaten a big lunch or something, I’ll sometimes tend to just doze off mid afternoon (only if I’m not doing anything though ). Also if I’ve had a really late night and had to get up pretty early, I might have a nap in the afternoon. Somehow it feels really strange even though heaps of people do it. Makes me feel like a geriatric or a baby, not sure which!! :hehehe:

Heck yes! As a matter of fact I took a 4 hour nap earlier! But for good reason.....my mother had out patient surgery at 7:00 this morning...which went well by the way...we had to get up at 4:30 and be at the hospital by 5:45 for prep and all that. We didn't get home til around 10:30 so I crashed until signing on about 2 hours ago

I just woke up from a nap a few hours ago. My mom gets mad when I take naps after school cuz she doesnt think I'll get up in the morning *shrug* I love taking naps in the summer too, but I gotta stop falling asleep in my car at my dad's shop when it's sitting in the sun!

CamaroGirl, you sound like me hehe. On Sunday's we go to a friend's house to visit him and his wife. If his wife is gone when we get there I will hang with the boys while they work on the car. If she is gone for a long time I will just plop in the back seat of the car and nap.

Naps just drain me, I get into sleep mode or something and then I'm tired the rest of the day.

Naps, eh? Yes, I do take the occasional nap, but only when I'm exhausted. Today I managed to squeeze in a 15 minute nap between classes, and then this afternoon I was able to enjoy a wonderful 1 1/2 hour nap! I had to cut it short because of work, but hey, it was better than nothing.
