Well this could be many things 1) your piston rings are fried 2) your burning oil or 3) its just do to the break in period of the turbo 95% its this it will go away if it doesnt then its more than likely your rings my friends rings fried last night.........that really sucked

did you buy the turbo new or used? what color smoke is kicking out of the tail pipe? i've had that problem with a use turbo before. found out the seals on the turbo was bad and had to replace them. BTW, why are you going with a t25 turbo on you b18b?

i went with a garrett T3 initially and was having problems with oil leaking, so then i went with this. I didnt really have enough money to go with another garrett and i lacked the knowledge to rebuild a turbo.

i cant tell exactly what the color is, but i to notice oil can be found when i wipe my finger around the inside the of the tail pipe. This could be from the previous turbo and all the oil it left behind in the down pipe burning off, but i've gone about 100 miles now and its still happening.

Do a compression test to see if your rings are bad. Oil out the tailpipe is never a good thing...
