anyone, have any ideas on how to change the bulbs for different color gauge lights. as well for the heater console, and window and unlock and lock lights.

Well they're very easy to change for the gauge. Get 194 bulbs...any color you choose...APC makes them. You can also get hyperwhites whcih look nice too.

As for the heater console, window, and unlock stuff. you're out of luck buddy. Those blubs are the tinest little things and after taking apart the heater console, the bulb i believe is attached. Nissan puts color "bulb condoms" on them to give them that blueish look. If you can get a diff color bulb condom, then you would be able to change it. As for the center console door lock and window switches...those bulbs u cannot get to. But if u have an auto trans, u can change the shift illumination (194)

Haven't pulled my dash off yet, but another Nissan made car, my brothers skyline, has blue ones stock too. They're not an intense blue though, when shining a torch through it it's borderline greenish...

The gauge cluster takes 5 194 bulbs. The shifter takes 1 194 bulb
