stolen.... AGAIN!

the one night i accidently leave my faceplate on, someone steals it! This is my second stereo solen out of my honda, and i've only had my civic for a year now. This honda is a damn magnet for thieves and police, at least the basterds didn't break my window this time!

that sucks, the one time huh, they must have been watching you, people would watch my friends car, and the one time he left his face-plate on it was gone too, but he got broken into 5 times before that, poor bastard, and the first time, we took his rockfords out to use them in the house, good thing too
good luck finding them

Wow! I've had my Honda for 2.5 years, 86,000 miles and no one has ever stolen my stereo or anything else.
In fact, they haven't bothered it in any way.
Then again, I have a cassette player and four ordinary speakers, and I never, ever play my music loudly in any neighborhoods with the windows down.
As long as you have expensive stuff in your car that makes noise, you'll just have to get used to it.
Get an 8-track player, and I bet no one will ever touch your car again.

I've got a sticker on my drivers side window that says "Driver Carrys Gun At All Times."... have never so much as had people come up to my window lookin' for change.... nobody goes near my car when I'm not in it either, cause everyone around town knows about the sticker and my gun (although word flys in a small town...).
Guns are bad, and you should only have one if you have a permit to own and carry one, and you should never use one except to practice with.

But yeah, leaving your face plate on is like a siren and flashing light to peoples looking to steal your stereo shit.

In New Mexico, you can carry a gun in your car, under the seat, loaded, unloaded, anything except waving it around, and that's legal.
We have just passed a concealed carry law, that allows you to take a class, get a permit, and carry one (concealed). Although the new permits can't take effect until Jan. 1, 2004.
Everybody and their dog has at LEAST a .22 under the seat.
Except me.
Which has a strange effect. I think more people pick up hitch hikers, because the drivers are already armed and feel safe doing so.

PS-Even my frikkin' GRANDMA has a Raven .25. It would probably blow up in her hand if she ever fired it!

Texas has had concealed hand gun permits for years... was one of the first things I did when I turned 21 was get my hand gun lisence.
I just carry around an old .38 police special my dad gave me..... although my dad carrys a .357 magnum with him on his Harley, so he didn't need it.
