Werd. That's why I never take my cars through car washes, well, the Delorean was too low to go through most car washes, but I'm a firm believer in handwashing your car anyway.

the car wash people probably wont pay for it either. The shell here ripped the antenna off our old ford bronco, causing $800 worth of damage cause it fucked up the fender in the process ... and they didnt hook us up with shit for it.

Yeah, I never take my car to the car-wash... I do it myself. And I especially don't use those "do it yourself" car washes either... Those brushes scrape the shit out of your paint, especially because there's usually all kinds of dirt/sand stuck in them.

I use the wand to clean the brush before I use it.

PS-Water regulations are so strict, you're not allowed to wash your car in the driveway in Santa Fe, so it's not an option. Guess I could work up a spit...

Hand wash it yourself - it saves the car

I know that most car washes have a disclaimer on the receipts stating that all care taken but they are not liable for any damage... why I never go to them - if they need that disclaimer then they know something I don't

Sucks about the damage to your ride though
