Dash

Anyone know how to get the top part of the dash off in the 90 si hatch. Do i just have to rip it all out or what. I can get some of the smaller stuff off its just the 2 large main parts, any locations of screws all i can find is the top one under that little rectangle. ????? pls help i am trying to do this today because i gotta finish my interior for OC trip. thx

oh yea to be more specific if u remember the stock colors of the old 90si i'm trying to get all the large grey parts out....ex...the grey dash part thx

theres screws all over the place, u have to take of the cover thing around speedometer, theres two screws in the back behind rectangle things and two kinda under the dash, then theres screws behind the glovebox, behind the console that goes around the cd player and stuff so u have to take the console out, and when u open the doors theres a little vent thing that u have to take of, and then theres a screw behind that and probably a few more

i think he means seperating the two different colored parts on the dash itself. like to paint or wrap the pieces seperately.


i did it for my hatch, and now everything is a nice matte black vinyl. its a pain in the ass to seperate them. theres a whole lot of screws on the backside, but they were put there strictly to hold it together while the glue that honda used on it was drying.

that glue is unmeltable, and nearly unbreakable. i couldnt cut it with anything except my air grinder. and even then, it took a lot of cutting wheels to seperate. pain in the ass, but in the end it was worth it.
