2 inch is fine man... the diference on a 95 hp car is basically un noticeable...
if all you can get is 2 inch... go for it... dont hold out... new 2 inch is way beter than a broken pipe.. Travis

okay, i just put on a full custom bent 2.25" exhaust on my car, and i can tell you there were mild gains over the whole range for my d15b2 (hf tranny), but i felt quite a noticable gain above 5000 rpms...

my brother has my old d16z6, exept he put a stage 2 59300 zex cam and a dc 4-1 header on the car... he had 2" exhaust...
anyways, went to the 1/8 mile track, with his exhaust on, he was pulling 10.2 and 10.3 consistantly, he removed the exhaust at the cat, ran a 9.7. then he replaced the 2" exhaust with 2 1/4" exhaust and left the exhaust hooked up, now he runs 9.7 and 9.6 with full exhaust... so just to show you how much 1/4" can make.. |
