Wink Upgrading to to turbo on a non-turbo 97 rs

i just baught a 97 eclipse RS non-turbo and am wanting to upgrade to a turbo but i am not sure what would be better?

buy a kit or buy a turbo and have some one run piping or what?

and what are some good brands?

are there any good articles that any one knows of thanks....

the kit would be easier..
i cant rember good brands off the top of my head tho..
i say hans craft.. i really cant rember tho.. if you look aroun in some old threads you will see this has been discussed and they have some good info in the old threads.. jus take some time and read old threads like yours..

i am buying a RS49 turbo and replacing all my exhaust with custom 3" stainless steel and Apex N1 exhaust and JE Pistons would that put me at about a GST or should i sell my RS for a GST or a GS ?

performance wise I prefer the RS over a GS since its lighter and all.

but with a RS49, pistons,bottom end( basically rebuilt engine) and supporting mods and tuning that will haul ass.it will be way faster than the GS-T(well a stock one)

Yeah i think i was in way over my head so i decided i needed to get some one to help me.
So i found a guy that designs custom engines for Honda Race, i told him i would build a web site for him if he rebuilds my car. The web site is pretty much done and the rebuilding process begins monday i'll keep you guys posted.
