80's formula vs ls turbo crx

me and my boys are driving around me in my hatch and 3 of them in my friends 80's somethin 5.7L formula with mods auto, running 14.2's and we see this boy we know with a crx with a t4 powered b18, its mildly gutted too

so they race from like a 45 roll and the formula jumps a bit then the boost kicks in and just flys past so we turn around and they stop in the middle of the road and get at it the formula pulls a car and the rex misses 3rd and falls back but when he put it back in ofcourse he pulled and they raced again and the formula smoked him off the line but when the turbo spooled he pulled ahead 2 cars then we stopped at a mcdonalds and talked and looked at the crx's setup for a minute

both cars are badass and the formula is internally stock and auto so i think it did pretty damn well

HAha indeed i know the formula 350 of which you speak....me and on eof my friends had the pleasure of racing him ....while we were in his 79 camaro...it was a close race indeed.....we pulled alittle on him..but not much...for the most part they were all fairly even races.......stopped and talked to the guy for a minute...his brother owns the turbo coupes that run around glen burnie.....either way it was a good race...hopefully he will get smart and add a little boost to the 350......say good bye to the rex....

the red one is being parted out and now the white one is too, they both shared the same motor, built motor with race cam but the cam made power in higher rpms close to redline so it was kinda robbing power low end, he could chirp 4th in the red one all day the motor ran better in that one, when he put it in the white one it had problems and the boost would surge up to 20psi if you stomped it

hes buying a beat ass legacy wagon for a beater till he decides what hes gonna get next....the kid loves boost so im sure its gonna be something boosted
