95 civic CAI install problem
Hey, i just installed a new cold air intake onto my 95 civic lx today (the long tube type, not the short ram). and now i keep getting this really loud hissing noise coming from right where the actual air filter is located right inside the bumper. what i need to know is what this problem might be and how i could fix it, bc its really loud and annoying. thanks

Make sure everything is correctly installed & clamped. If I understand you correctly thats the normal intake noise.

Im not sure that its the standard intake noise (it sounds like it would if somebody opened up one of those compressed oxygen tanks and just let it sit there, and its really loud when the car is idling). from what i checked, everything was connected properly, but would a different brand of filter (prehaps a K&N) fix this problem, bc i bought the lit and it has some no name brand filter on it? thanks

ok there really isnt anything wrong with anything you have done and the intake is fine also, most all of them make that noise, mine does and so does my fiance's c.a.i, so really you just have to get used to it making that noise cause i did, so i hope this helps you...
