Removing the dash...

Are there any detailed instructions on how to do this?

You asked for it!

Disconnect the battery ground negative cable.
Disable the SIR system.
Remove the instrument panel (IP) insulators.
Remove the LH and RH carpet retainers.
Remove the windshield side upper garnish moldings.
Remove the IP upper trim panel.
Remove the front floor console, if equipped.
Remove the steering column opening filler.
Remove the knee bolster.
Remove the steering column.
Remove the IP cluster trim plate.
Remove the radio.
Remove the HVAC control assembly.
Remove the IP cluster.
Remove the headlamp switch.
Remove the instrument cluster HUD dimmer switch, if equipped.
Remove the instrument cluster HUD display, if equipped.
Remove the driver information center.
Remove the IP compartment.
Remove the IP compartment lamp switch.
Remove the inside air temperature sensor, if equipped.
Remove the IP trim pad bolts at the windshield.
Remove the left side lower trim pad mounting bolts
Remove the IP cluster pocket mounting bolt
Position the IP wiring harness aside.
Remove the IP trim pad from the vehicle.

Install the upper IP trim pad bolts. Tighten
Tighten the bolts to 5 N·m (44 lb in).


Install the IP cluster pocket bolt (1). Tighten
Tighten the bolts to 5 N·m (44 lb in).


Install the left side lower IP bolts (1). Tighten
Tighten the bolts to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

Let me respecify. How do you remove the big ass plastic thing blocking access to the radio?

Lower the steering wheel and pull it off. I had to do it three times today. I wouldn't mess with the lower one though, I about broke mine.
