What kind of muffler do you have?

Most mufflers become noisy after a while. It's something with the dampening material in the muffler that needs to be burned away or something.

But like I said, what muffler do you have? Some brands are just more quiet then other ones...

Did you also change the air filter to an CAI? (cold air intake)
That will also help to make some noise, it did for me

Lightbulb

You need to check out Flowmaster Mufflers that perform and they have different levels of aggressive noise from the muffler by the model of muffler you buy!

Get a complete cat back exhaust system! A muffler won´t do anything for your performance and is just good for looks and in most cases for sound.
A chip also won´t do much for your performance because Honda´s ECUs are already well programmed stock. If your engine is not heavily modified you will gain maybe about 2-3hp if any at all.

What Honda do you drive and what are your goals with it?? Do you want to race or go for show? Or a bit of both?

Cool

You can enhance the muffler's sound by taking a larger pipe from the converter all the way back to the tips! Plus it will increase your HP!
