Hi, I have dodge colt 1995 ......
This car do not start. The motor turn to start, but nothing happens. I check for missfire, but the fire is present on spark plugs. so the problem is at a another place . It come very close to start,,, It look like if has missfuel. Do you have idea.... new wires, plugs, cap, rotor, fuel filter ,are on it Thanks... Richard..... sorry for my english |

I know the problem is not fuel pump, because I have tested it. and it was ok. could be map sensor or temp sensor? Thank,,,, Richard... |

It is quite possible that you may have a problem with the coolant sensor. These import engines have tempermental coolant sensors. However you need to scan the system to verify the problem. Any way the sensor is not very expensive. I'd throw one in and keep my fingers crossed. Do not flood the engine by cranking it continually. Good luck.

You can remove the plastic covers that protect the belts and have a look at them, your engine might use a chain, not a belt, goodluck to ya
