Unhappy compound form tamiya

hey guys i wanna know where i can get some compound
just finished reading pmans how to use compound and wax usage.
it looks like good stuff.

You will find in difficult to find Tamiya compound now as they have stopped producing it fro some reason. I know Hasegawa make some and a few other companies. You can use regular automotive sompound aswell though.

Out of production? really? Damn, I just bought a tube of it. My local hobby shop has a heap of it, perhaps I should stock up It's good stuff.

There was a thread about it on here a couple of weeks back. If I were you while your local HS has it stock up.

I've never seen it locally, but I just ordered a tube of it from HobbySearch. I'm hoping they do have some, as it appears they do on their website.

EDIT: Also, you can use Novus 2 as a substitute. It's really nice stuff, and quite cheap, all things considering. Get it from you local plastic shops (I didn't even know there were local plastic shops... just check the yellow pages under "Plastics").

If you live in the UK don't even bother looking for Tamiya compond or polish as HobbyCo(UK Tamiya Importers) DON'T import these into the UK!! I finally rang them after searching for them for about 3 months!!
