Cd Player in 1997 Taurus

I need a cd player in my ford Taurus its a 1997. Someone please help to tell me what that i do.

Well, first of all Ford makes it more of a pain in the ass than it should be, what i did was go to crutchfield.com and buy an adapter off there, i think it was like 60 bux or somethin' in that range, it took me like 2 or 3 hours cause i couldn't find the factory amp unit or whatever they call that thing in my trunk. you have to run all the speaker wire from the front to the back, so yeah... there ya have it in a nutshell

Get an FM modulated CD changer from Crutchfield instead of the direct signal one the person mentioned up above. It is A LOT EASIER to install, and you have less wiring to do if you do it this way. The quality of the FM modulated ones is pretty much just as good as the direct signal one.
