Question stereo plays when key is removed

Over the past couple of weeks, I have noticed that our stereo (cd or radio) continues to play for about a minute after the key has been removed from the ignition and I have exited vehicle and shut/locked the doors. Anyone have any info on this ?

Honda stereo

I am the sole owner of this vehicle that has not had any service needed. I would find it hard to believe that the wiring would be mixed up all of the sudden after driving the car for the past 2 1/2 years.
