140 down the mass pike

It wasnt me, but im glad it isn't!!

A freind of mine (seriously) borrowed his grandpa's Porsche, and was driving home at 4 in the morning, on a wet highway. So he decides to push it. he would have made the 30 mile strech between the exits in 12 minutes, at that speed (he was maxed in fourth, not even in fifth yet) if it wasnt for Mr. State trooper coming the other way.

Clocked at 142 mph
$900 ticket
bitched at for 20 minutes.
not to mention he was under 18 driving past 12....he's lucky he kept his liceance!

Damn... $900 would buy a nice nitrous kit from NOS and enough 10lbs refils to keep you going for a while!

Oh man

The State Troopers here in Colorado are usually pretty cool. I got busted for doing a 105 in a 55 on the highway. The guy bumped the speed down to only a 74 in a 55. I still got to keep my license, only had a $50 fine, no court. I was out past curfew, and he didn't even bother to bring it up. He was pretty cool, and I'm glad I got to keep my license and all. Cause if not, that would suck.

I cant believe they didnt haul his ass to jail and tow the car. I dont mind much if he's cruising that fast if their is nobody on the road, but how in the world did a cop car going the other way turn around and catch up to a car cruising at 140ish? Especially at night.
