96 Sebring starting probs
My son has a 96 LXI and can anyone tell me what those 2 leads going to the pos. side of the battery are. They go from the battery to the fuse blk. The reason I 'm asking is that with them disconnected the car turns over but no fuel. When I reconnect them to the pos terminal it will start but sometimes I'll have to mess with them for the car to start, almost like there isn't a good connection but the car will always turn over. I have cleaned the 2 leads and even put dielectric grease on them and still the same intermittent problem. I have done the problem code (on off on off on method) and battery disconnect comes up. Any ideas would be appreciated

That is an OBD II vehicle and the on off system does not work kere. You have to have a scanner to check the codes.
As for the wire that is loose, connect it permanently and start the vehicle. Looks like that wire supplies power to the fuse box. It take about 30 cranks for the vehicle to relearn its computor. Every time it looses its memory it has to restart. It gets confused. Leave the wire on.
