TRD mechanical Celica

I'm just getting started on a conversion to this car.

http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...hreadid=104254

Reference photos of the bonnet spoilers are very rare, and I don't have a plan view of it. I've created a template that has the trailing edge of the spoiler conforming to the curve around the windscreen area, but somehow I don't think it's correct. Are the leading and trailing edges of the spoilers straight lines instead?

In addition, when seen from the front, are the spoilers straight lines or conformal with the bonnet?

Okay, I'm working on the wing now. I don't have a top view, so I was wondering, does anyone know it the wing is a straight bar or a curved one when seen from the top?

Current progress.

My question still stands.. when viewed from the top, is the rear wing's blade straight or curved?

It does look like it has a bit of a curve.

Celica is coming along nicely. Keep us posted.

What about the brake light on the rear spoiler? Is it a straight bar? It looks like an unusual shape to me.

Comming along nicely.. but IMO, the front spoiler looks a little high. You might try to lower a little.

Smile

Looked at one in a parking lot today, the rear spoiler is straight but it has a slight horizontal bow to it so that the center is slightly higher than each end. The bow is approx. the thickness of the spoiler itself.

An upward curve? Is that supposed to be aerodynamic?

Anyway is there any kind of airfoil shape profile to the wing blade, or is it just rectangular in cross-section?
