streetglow light up pedals installation help

ok i have some pedals from streetglow and it comes with a switch and the switch has a wire thats well just a wire, im suppose to hook into some 12v device... Where do i uhh go and put this wire?
and how could i get this to connect to the interior lights, so when i switch the nob to turn on the inside lights like for my cd player and the gauge panels.

I have a 2000 civic ex

also i have one of the lights that basically blinks with the beat of music and it hooks into the lighter thing, would i be able to mayby cut that part off and hook the wires into the fusebox or something to make it look more cleaner and use my lighter eletrical thing for something else?
I would like to be able and hook this light up to mayby a switch and i might want to get about 2 lights and hook them both up to the same switch.

Thanks,
2cm

Tape the wires up the pedal posts so you don't kick them or whatever. Take all the wires up into the fuse box and wrap the positive around a metal tooth on a fuse like headlights or interior lights or something. That way when you turn your lights on, the pedals will light up, don't even bother with some ugly switch. Oh yeah and ground the black wire by unscrewing some bolt and wrap the wire around it, then tighten the bolt back down. Make sure it's a bolt going into metal connected to the chassis.

Pull out the fuse for the dash lights, there will be two metal teeth on it. Strip the plastic off the end of the wire and wrap it around either one of those teeth, then plug the fuse back in with the wire on there.
