BMW 325I 2001 Maintenance
Hi,
I have a BMW 325I (2001). I have a question regarding maintenance. I have the onboard computer which shows when the "oil service" is due. What about the other maintenance services? Or does this "oil service" cover everything? Please advice. Thanks. Cheers, Popeye |

The oil service is a basic service consisting of Oil Change, Fuel Additive if you are out of full maintenance, Wiper Inserts, MicroFilter and washer fluid. It covers a basic check over the whole car also.

Thanks for the reply.
So .. as long as I am getting the "oil service" done I am fine, right? I need to go to the dealer only when the "oil service" indicator comes on. Pls correct me if I am wrong? |

After your oil service is performed, the next time it says something it will say inspection. That maintenance is a little bit more for you, but it should be covered under your full maintenance program that you have with the car. Your full maintenance should be 3yr/36k mi. Thats about it, unless you have other complaints with the car to take it in for.

Thanks for the reply.
Pardon my ignorance. My car is still covered under warranty. It's got 38000 miles on it. I got the "Oil Service" done twice. However I never got any other "inspection" signal yet. Do you think I should check with the dealer? Please advice. Thanks. |

Hey, your car should have Full Maintenance to 36k. The first service is an oil service around 15k. The next service should have been an inspection at around 30k I would check with the dealer as thats what they should have done.
