GT P11 Front bumper mod - done

Here's how I spent my sunday, modifying my front
bumper with help from my brother Martin (Cheers Mart')
I got sick of seeing the centre cross piece in the bottom
part of the bumper & decided to open it up
I think it looks much better now
Here's the pics of how we did it, let me know what you all think

Once we'd cut out the centre we had to fill & mould the
sides into one big hole!

in went the mesh & hurrah !!

I kinda liked it without the mesh grill. like the way luke's looks... of course, he's also got an intercooler to show off too.

I cut it very carefully with a hacksaw & it was real easy to cut

It took me a while to find the mesh same as in the bumper,
but its actually "Max Power" mesh,altho I had to paint it as it came blue

ragt20 : I wanted to do something like that, but getting paint for my car isn't cheap.....

My brother runs a paint repair specialist company in Middlesex
& can get the Chromaflair paint at half price (Altho its still damn
expensive) so let us know. (the other Mystic Gt at the meet has
a scratch on his door, so it might be worth you buying 1/2 litre together
from my bro.

did u mot try demon tweeks or xtreme....they have tons of the stuff....
I remember as I had done the same on my last car Pug 306....and I bought the mesh from Xtreme......fortunately on the 306, as the parts I was cuttinng off were not as big as the P11, I got away without the need to paint.or fill ..
