Who knows anything about 17" blades on a P10?

I had 17x8 blades on my G last week and I had to take them off my car!
They had 215/40/17 michelins. It was off my boys 99 Accord. The problem here was that my tires were rubbing against the shock tower right beneath where the spring sits. What is the proper tire size to go with cause I can get these rims for cheap but the 17" tire is gonna hurt.
Gimme some advice...........

I think you could run a 8" wide wheel but you'll need to be 'bang' on with the offset. I have no idea what it would be either so don't ask. :silly2:

by offset

You do mean the rim offset?
If so they do fit on my car. Its just that the tire is rubbing the inside of the tires was a little bit worn. The rear was worse than the front. Actually the fronts dont have a problem they are rubbing but there isn't any worn rubber on the tires nor is there any marks on the strut tower.
Can you put 205's on a 17x8?
and should I have a lower profile like a 35?

If they rub on the strut, you may have to look into smaller tires, and/or spacers for the wheels, depending on where, and how they rub. Or maybe both?
