Post Lefty or Right?

Hey you guys, I've been told that if u practice drawing with the opposite hand that u draw with for a couple of months, once u go back to ur regular drawing hand, u will be able to draw better? Is this true? Anyway there is a poll for all of u drawers. I am left-handed btw.
(L for lefty)

That might be true, I remember in high school my art teacher made us draw with the oposite hand we normally drew with.

I have a good advice on drawing cars --> while you're drawing a car --> trun your page once and a while --> if you turn it you can see your mistakes , hold it against the light . If you take a look at my drawings you'll see that the cardimensions are almost correct.

Do it and you'll see

A couple of tips.

Try drawing what is called negative space. For example while drawing the top roof of a car don't draw the roof line but draw the sky (background) Basically the roof edge line is also the line of the background (sky). It sounds kind of weird but it helps.

Also draw with out distractions in other words don't draw infront of the TV or with people talking around you. Play music without words like drum and bass or classical.

i do that all the time, its the only way i can get a decent edge sometimes that doesn't look as if it has been out lined
